Water freeze at zero centigrade; the usual kind of antifreeze will not freeze until the temperature is 40℃ below zero. A mixture of five parts of water and four parts of antifreezes will prevent freezing at 18℃ below zero; four parts of water and five parts of antifreeze reduce this to 22℃ below zero.
Alcohol is a good antifreeze, but when the car is running it turns hot and the alcohol bums away, so it must be replaced very often. Most persons use antifreezes that do not boil away when the engine is running. There are many chemicals that do this. One of the most popular is called ethylene glycol, which is sold under various trade names such as Preston and Xerox.

Dear Mr. Chamberlin,
Re: Business equipment removal
Your enquiry letter of August 16th is acknowledged with thanks. I am writing to provide you with the quotation that you requested. In addition (19) this, I am including further details of our service. The price is based on the items that you mentioned in your letter and will, of course, (20) if you decide to add extra items or (21) some.
We will move your equipment when it is most convenient for us so as to keep the cost as low as (22) .We will try to combine your move with (23) of other clients who ask us to transport goods at around the same time. I am sure you will (24) that if we were to make a special trip just for your equipment the cost (25) be much higher. This means that (26) you requested a move on 23rd September, this precise date may not be possible. However, we regularly transport goods (27) Singapore and Hong Kong, and we would (28) to be able to move your equipment within two or three days of your requested date.
The (29) does not include packing. I understand that you (30) to carry out your own packing since (31) of your equipment is quite fragile. It is our sincere hope that these initial details meet with your (32) and ask that you do not hesitate to (33) us if you require any further advice.
Yours sincerely,
Chad Ring

SUBJECT: Grand Opening Ceremony
Hello Mr. Dawson,
It was really pleased to talk to you on the phone earlier today. As I hope I made clear to you, it is absolutely essential that we have the sound system package we ordered set up on time, as per the contract signed last week. Ceremonies begin on April 27 at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Your set-up schedule is to include a complete sound check. We don't need a repeat of last time.
Please note that due to construction, it is impossible to use Gate 1. So please have your trucks arrive at Gate 4, by 11:00 A.M. Our staff will call a construction foreman to escort you to the loading bays. In keeping with safety requirements, ensure your crew is equipped with safety vests and safety helmets, or our staff will ask them to leave the site.
If you have any special electrical needs, please contact Philip Jackson, our plant manager. His cell phone number is 604-555-4123.

SUBJECT: Re: Grand Opening Ceremony
Dear Mr. Kim,
It was good to have spoken to you yesterday in person. I wish to assure you that in my new position here at Perfect Sound I will try to provide you with as seamless a process as possible.
Our sound expert, Michael Johnson, is currently scheduled to arrive at 3:00 P.M. to run the sound check, which we think will give us plenty of time to ensure everything will be up and running by the 7:00 P.M. start time.
I note that our installation personnel will be required to wear safety vests and safety helmets. I think this requirement does not apply to Michael because he is not involved in the actual physical set-up.
As regards electrical needs, I have already e-mailed Mr. Jackson all the necessary information. Please feel free to call me at 556-7658 with any concerns you may have.
Thank you for selecting Perfect Sound!
Sincerely,
Robert Dawson
