Doctors may advise hypnosis for women who are giving birth. Dentists may use it in place of traditional pain-killing drugs, such as novocaine (麻醉药).

5 Hypnosis also has been used to treat burn victims. Researchers have found that bum victims who are hypnotized improve faster that those who are not. But, they are not sure why this happens.

Second, it is really not hard to learn enough to use today's machines. You do not need to be a great brain. But you do have to learn to think in new ways.
