Once, for example, a young man and woman entered Bradley's grand casino at Palm Beach. They played for an hour and lost ＄10,000. The next morning the girl burst into Bradley's office.

A soft-hearted man by nature, the casino owner Bradley responded:

In a traditional culture, elderly people are valued for their wisdom, but in our society, the knowledge of a lifetime may become dated overnight. The young and the old seem to live in two very different worlds, separated by different skills and abilities.
